I fondly thought that I could make a seat for the bike to replace the dual seat that it came with. I built a seat base from plywood and fibreglass, which fits to the original frame lugs and lock. But I’d over-estimated my skills with a sewing machine and my ability to shape seat foam. I did work out that you can cut the foam with an electric carving knife and sourced a cheap one for this. But the task isn’t complete, and I need to get a seat made.
This picture shows the seat base. It seems like a good start, but there’s a way to go yet…
