Thie was a late task. I hadn’t figured that itought to be complicated, but I did know that I’m not a fan of numberplates that sit to the side of the bike, and I didn’t have a rear mudguard to mount a regular numberplate mount to. So, I devised a simple bracket arrangement to fit to the rear of the frame extending beyond the rear wheel. It needed to be reasonably stiff, and the plate itself has to clear the back tyre even when the suspension is fully compressed. Oh, and it needed to incorporate mounting for the rear indicators and the fitment had to allow for their wiring. Even this simple arrangement involves a lot of thought.

This picture shows the arrangement at the rear of the bike. Rear numberplate with bracket, rear light/ stop light and reflectors, rear indicators and (just) the rear shock absorbers.
