The Navy
I spent about 20 years in the RN. I first went to Dartmouth in January 1977 (for a week) and I progressed as a UIniversity Cadet through university to general and then postgraduate training, qualifying as an Air Engineer Officer in 1981. Thereafter, I spent my time working mostly in the Fleet Air Arm. You can’t serve without coming across lots of interesting stuff. This part of the blog presents a few memories (RN jargon: ‘Dits’) and so on.
