The Eternamatic watch

Eterna made this watch in the 1960s, I think, and it has an automatic movement. I understand that the Eternamatic logo of 5 dots arranged in a pentagram reflects the bearing of the rotating rotor. The famous Eterna watches of the time were the Eternamatic ‘Kon Tiki’ family, which command giid prices. This watch is a good example of why eBay isn’t a good source. It’s a nice quality watch, but it’s worn out. The movement sometimes just doesn’t drive the hands, and the time adjustment mechanism is so worn that sometimes you can’t even adjust the watch. To be fair though, it was inexpensive.
