It seems odd that there’s such a strong drive fill our fields with solar panels whilst we are so very short of the ability to feed ourselves.
Also, is the drive to create vast wind farms and pursue every alternate renewable energy source the best plan? Have we really considered all of the implications of doing this? I think of the complexity of absolutely everything and I am unconvinced that the initiatives are completel thought through.
I’m not against making improvements – working to reduce our energy footprint seems like just common-sense. But the scope and pace of this change seems hardly sensible.
